Destination Maternity Expands in Canada

Philadelphia-based Destination Maternity Corp. is expanding its brand presence in Canada with the opening of a Destination Maternity store in Calgary, Alb., at the Kingsland Village retail development.

The store will carry A Pea in the Pod branded maternity apparel, marking the first time Destination Maternity's luxury maternity collection will be available in the country. The store will also carry Motherhood Maternity branded maternity apparel, which is already available at 34 Motherhood Maternity stores throughout Canada and online.

Along with apparel, the approximately 3300 square-foot-space will house a relaxation area for family members and friends complete with plush chairs and a flat screen TV, along with a play area for children.
