Gensler outfits the fashion retailer's six-story New York flagship in signature pattern

Gensler, San Francisco-based retail architecture and design firm, has covered the Burberry flagship store in New York with the retailer's signature plaid.

Gensler designed a grid-like framework for the entire faade of the six-story building, using expanded metal for the grid's structure to create layers that form the “weave.” A layer of limestone and the grid's bronze color were combined to produce the plaid effect.
