Smoking Vapor (Phoenix), which manufactures and sells electronic cigarettes, recently opened a new store in Phoenix’s Arcadia neighborhood, and plans to open four more retail units in the coming months, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.

The 1200-square-foot space sells e-cigarettes, e-cigars and related products. Smoking Vapor also will move into an adjoining 2500-square-foot space for its company headquarters.

The e-cigarette industry has grown into a $1.7 billion market, according to Wells Fargo, which projects the burgeoning sector to hit $10 billion by 2017.

Smoking Vapor operates a handful of kiosks in Phoenix-area malls. Those kiosks will close as retail locations open, with a goal of expanding throughout the area by early 2015.
