Eileen Fisher Opens Connecticut Flagship

Environmentally, socially-conscious products, design

Eileen Fisher Inc. (Irvington, N.Y.) opened a new store at 252 Greenwich Ave. in Greenwich, Conn. The 3550-square-foot space is the company’s second location in Connecticut and is intended to become a flagship store for the brand.

The store replaces what previously was occupied by Jack Wills, and its designers attempted to repurpose as much of the building’s historic integrity and original design as possible. It features local furnishings and plans to partner with a local organization to support through a special sale in September.

According to Greenwich Time, nearly every product in the store has some kind of eco- or socially-conscious element, from the materials and processes used to make the products to the way the workers who created them were paid.
