Lexington, Ky.-based Fazoli’s reports a 10.9 percent same-store sales increase at company-owned restaurants in April. April marks the fast-casual chain’s 21st straight month of comp store sales growth and the third record set in the last five months.

The company attributes the strong sales to new marketing and hospitality programs launched in early April, combined with a recently revamped menu, expanded service and a new unit design.

“Guests are really responding to the improvements that we have made to every aspect of the Fazoli’s experience,” says Carl Howard, president and ceo. “This was the best year-over-year April performance in the company’s history, and it sets up Fazoli’s for a great spring and summer,” Howard said.
