Management Changes:


QVC Inc. (West Chester, Pa., electronic retailer) has hired Kim Maguire as executive vp and chief merchandising officer. Maguire was previously chief merchandising officer at Circuit City.

Watkins Hamilton Ross Architects Inc. (Houston architecture firm) has appointed Chuck Turner to manage its new Dallas office.

The Lighting Practice Inc. (Philadelphia lighting design consulting firm) has named Michael Barber as a principal.

Metrologic Instruments Inc. (Blackwood, N.J., manufacturer of bar code scanning and automated data-capture systems) has promoted Benny Noens to president and ceo and added him to its board of directors. Noens succeeds company founder Harry Knowles, who will continue to serve as chairman.

Weidenbach-Brown Co. Inc. (New Rochelle, N.Y., lighting and electrical solutions distributor) has hired Gary Mann as its vp, sales.

KoalaPlay Group (Englewood, Colo., provider of play equipment for commercial environments) has opened a Superior Foam manufacturing plant at its headquarters. Artists at the facility create soft-foam play elements.

Projector Wholesale Supply (Poulsbo, Wash., distributor of projection solutions) has been named a distributor of audio and video products manufactured by FSR Inc. of West Paterson, N.J.

Lees (Greensboro, N.C., carpet manufacturer) announced that its Unibond and Unibond RE backing systems have earned Environmentally Preferable Product (EPP) certification from Scientific Certification Systems, a third-party evaluation and certification group.
