Gap Inc. (San Francisco, Calif.) is looking to music mogul and entrepreneur Kanye West to help revive its struggling brand, especially among young shoppers, reports The New York Times. The retailer signed a 10-year agreement with West to create and produce a new clothing line – Yeezy Gap, which will be introduced during the first half of next year.

The clothing line, under West’s design direction, will offer “modern, elevated basics for men, women and kids at accessible price points.” West’s “design vision” will reportedly include how the clothing is merchandised in Gap stores and online.

Gap hopes the partnership will achieve $1 billion in sales by its halfway point of five years. For West, Gap’s distribution infrastructure and production capacity offer him the ability to offer more accessible fashion to his fans.
