Following the heels of Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and Versace is Georgio Armani. This fall, select European stores will begin carrying the 25-year-old design house's makeup collection.

The designer was quoted in WWD as saying, “I wanted to create a line that was very special in its sophistication and luxury – as both an extension and a complement to [my] fashion.”

Priced for an upscale market, a lipstick (in Europe) will retail at a suggested $22. Eyeshadow and mascara will likely sell for about $25 each.

Currently, Saks Fifth Avenue is the only U.S. retailer included in distribution plans and is expected to carry the line early next year.

Reportedly, Ralph Lauren and DKNY may also jump into the cosmetic arena.
