MANAGEMENT CHANGES:

Amerlux Lighting Solutions (Fairfield, N.J.) has promoted Bill Plageman to vice president of product marketing.

Holiday Image LLC (Long Island City, N.Y.), a creator of custom holiday design solutions, has hired the following: Ed Hilla, vice president of marketing and sales; Bonnie Sylvor Gurwicz, national retail account manager; and Ehsan Wahdat, chief operating officer.

Build-A-Bear Workshop Inc. (St. Louis), a retailer of customized stuffed animals, has named John Haugh president and chief marketing and merchandising bear, and promoted Tina Klocke to chief operations and financial bear.

Robert Sly has rejoined Group Goetz Architects (Washington, D.C.) as associate principal and studio director of the firm’s commercial design practice.

Floor manufacturer Centiva (Atlanta) is taking part in the SmartWay Transport Partnership, a collaboration between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the freight industry designed to increase energy efficiency while reducing greenhouse gases and air pollution.

Renaissance Lighting (Herndon, Va.), a developer of solid-state downlight fixtures, has been named to the 2009 GoingGreen East 50 Top Private Company List by the AlwaysOn online editorial network. The annual list recognizes privately held, emerging companies that create new business opportunities in green technology.

C-nario (Tel Aviv, Israel, and Tampa, Fla.) has entered a strategic partnership with Vizrt (Bergen, Norway) that adds 3-D, live and video capabilities to C-nario’s digital signage platform.
