IKEA to Invest in Slovenian Location

New store will open next fall in Ljubljana

Swedish furniture and housewares retailer IKEA will opens its first store in Slovenia, according to Reuters. The store, located in Ljubljana, Slovenia, is expected to be open next fall and will employ about 300 people.

IKEA will invest approximately $99 million in the outpost, which is surrounded by neighboring stores in Italy, Austria, Croatia and Hungary.
