Kendu In-Store Visual Solutions continues to expand across the US opening an all-new 50,000 square foot production facility in Doral in response to growing customer demand. In just four years, Kendu’s American operations have grown from a hot desk in a shared office to the opening of the brand-new factory servicing all four offices in Miami, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.

The new US/LATAM headquarters offer increased manufacturing capabilities for the award-winning dynamic display Flowbox and Kendu’s patented Smartframe display and LED lightboxes boosting their capacity for large volume rollouts. The facilities also include new specialized SEG digital printing machinery meaning shorter lead times for campaigns while also guaranteeing the same high-quality product currently offered by the company’s printing facilities in Mexico and Spain. In late 2019, Kendu also plans open its first in-house showroom, accessible to clients, suppliers and collaborators, in Doral.

“Kendu’s growth in the US/LATAM market over the past four years has been exponential and we won’t be stopping anytime soon. We are extremely grateful for the trust that our customers placed in our local team as its this trust that motivates and enables us to continue growing. As Managing Director of Kendu US, it is a wonderful privilege and challenge to lead such an exceptional team of talented professionals who offer the best service and the most innovative products in the market,” states David Lopez, Managing Director US/LATAM.

The company now employs over 50 local people in its four US offices, most recently appointing Chicago-based Tammy Callahan as Director of Sales & Account Management and, in Los Angeles, Siarra Duffy as Senior Account Executive. Thanks to the increased manufacturing capabilities and predicted growth, Kendu will expand its workforce by an additional 50 employees over the next two years.

“When the company celebrated its 18th anniversary last year, we adopted a new slogan “Yes! We Kendu it!”. It reflects the company’s adventurous spirit that has been in place since its beginnings in Spain and was what drove our initial expansion into the US. It’s the same initiative that we implement everyday as a local team and will be key to our success as we move forward into the future,” comments Lopez.

Since its US launch, Kendu’s key focus has been the retail industry, a sector that demands quality service and products. The company has worked with the leading retailers on both a national and international level.
