Lanvin Group (Shanghai) closed 54 of its directly operated stores during 2024, leaving it with 225 locales. The luxury retailer – whose units include the flagship Lanvin brand, along with Wolford, Sergio Rossi, St. John and Caruso – disclosed that number in reporting its year-end 2024 results, which reflected a drop in both the retailer’s revenues and gross profits.

“2024 was a year of transformation for Lanvin Group,” said Lanvin Group Chairman Zhen Huang. “While market conditions were challenging, we made critical strides in strengthening our brands, optimizing our operations, and laying the groundwork for future growth. With our renewed creative leadership and disciplined execution, we are confident in our ability to navigate the evolving luxury landscape and deliver long-term value.”

Here’s how many stores the group closed, broken down by brand:

• Wolford: 38, leaving it with 112
• St. John: 8, leaving it with 37
• Sergio Rossi: 5, leaving it with 43
• Lanvin: 3, leaving it with 33
• Caruso: No directly operated stores

The company said it planned to continue closing underperforming stores, but did not provide specifics.
