Limited Brands Inc. (Columbus, Ohio) has reorganized itself into three business groups — for lingerie, beauty and personal care, and apparel — and has hired several executives for major roles in that new structure.

Under the reorganization, each business group will be led by a group president who will provide oversight for the brand and its products across all distribution channels. Les Wexner, Limited Brands' chairman and ceo, will assume group leader responsibilities for lingerie, including the Victoria's Secret brand.

Jay Margolis, formerly president/coo of Reebok Intl., has joined Limited Brands as group president, apparel, with oversight for Express and The Limited. Len Schlesinger, vice chairman and coo, will oversee beauty and personal care, which includes Bath & Body Works. Schlesinger and Wexner will share responsibility for Henri Bendel and Victoria's Secret Beauty. And Martyn Redgrave, formerly executive vp and cfo of Carlson Cos. Inc., has joined Limited Brands as executive vp and chief administrative officer.

Limited Brands also appointed Deborah Fine, formerly ceo of Avon Future, as ceo of its PINK lifestyle brand.

“We are poised for accelerated future growth and we need the depth and breadth of leadership to achieve it,” said Wexner. “This newly assembled leadership team will provide the needed intense focus and oversight in lingerie, beauty and personal care and apparel to maximize our growth potential.”

Limited Brands operates 3835 specialty stores under the Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, Express, Limited Stores, White Barn Candle Co. and Henri Bendel nameplates.
