Leggett & Platt Names Two New Project Managers

One will handle all Wal-Mart business

The Leggett & Platt Store Fixtures Group (Niles, Ill.) has appointed two new project managers, both formerly with Hamilton Fixture Co. (Hamilton, Ohio).

Dave Mueller was named vp of customer service and project management. He will be responsible for development and implementation of project management/customer service teams and will oversee improvement programs, cost savings and standardization efforts within the Store Fixtures Group. Mueller has more than 26 years of management experience in the manufacturing and fixturing industries. He had been Hamilton Fixture's vp of customer service/project management.

Julian Nicol will be project manager at L&P's Tarrant Interiors subsidiary (Fort Worth, Texas), where his primary focus will be overseeing Leggett & Platt's wood business at nationwide Wal-Mart locations, working closely with Leggett's Bentonville, Ark. office and other company branches. Nicol was project manager at Hamilton Fixture and also project coordinator at Kmart Corp. (Troy, Mich.).

Leggett & Platt (Carthage, Mo.) is a Fortune 500 diversified manufacturer of a broad variety of engineered products serving several major markets. Sales and production are focused on a wide range of commercial furnishings, residential furnishings, aluminum products, industrial materials and other specialized products. The company has facilities throughout North America and in numerous international locations.
