Longtime VMSD Board Member Amy Garrigan Passes Away
Details regarding her celebration of life will be available this summer

Longtime VMSD supporter and editorial advisory board member Amy Garrigan passed away February 24, 2022, according to friends and family.
Garrigan was a VMSD editorial advisory board member from 2004 until 2016. During her time on the VMSD board, she was an active member, writing blogs for the publication and regularly participating in the coveted Iron Merchant Challenge at VMSD’s annual International Retail Design Conference (IRDC).
Garrigan was the former VP, Marketing and Brand for Family Christian Stores LLC (Grand Rapids, Mich.) during her time on the board. More recently she worked as general manager for COAST Apparel (Greenville, S.C.) and was the co-founder of marketing, brand and creative consultancy Archie & Eldred (Grand Rapids, Mich.).
Details regarding Garrigan’s celebration of life/memorial services will be available this summer.
The VMSD staff wishes to extend its heartfelt sympathy and support to Garrigan’s industry colleagues, friends and family during this difficult time.
