Once Upon A Toy, a 16,000-square-foot store offering a new line of merchandise from Hasbro and Disney, opened today in the Walt Disney World Resort (Lake Buena Vista, Fla.).

The store, in the resort's Downtown Disney Marketplace, features a giant Genie figure from Disney's “Aladdin” movie and a Tinkertoy tower by Hasbro at its entrance. Inside are colorful kinetic toy displays created by designers from Disney Imagineers and Hasbro.

Once Upon A Toy offers several exclusive new Hasbro/Disney playthings, including: a Mr. Potato Head with Disney-themed parts, such as Mickey Mouse ears; a Disney theme park edition of the board game Monopoly; and a Play-Doh play set based on Disney's “It's a Small World” attraction.

“Once Upon A Toy is a wonderful destination for everyone who loves to play,” says Al Weiss, president of Walt Disney World Resort.
