MICRO INDUSTRIES REFLECTS THE FUTURE WITH SWITCHABLE INTERACTIVE MIRROR AT GLOBALSHOP 2014
Touchscreen Switches to a Mirror at the Touch of a Finger

LAS VEGAS, NV, March 18, 2014– Micro Industries today introduces new mirror technology that reflects the future of retail at GlobalShop 2014. The new product called Touch&Go Paige Mirror17 is a one-of-a-kind interactive screen which combines new switchable interactive mirror technology with the reliability of its Touch&Go Paige 17 touchscreen display computer. Simply by touching the screen, customers can use the Paige Mirror 17 either as a mirror or as a touchscreen to access information about store products. They can even select items from a digital product directory, try them on virtually, or see their own reflection.

“The Paige Mirror 17 changes the dynamics of current intelligent-mirror systems,” said Michal Curran, Micro Industries CEO. “The true-to-life reflection, coupled with bright and dynamic digital content, lets the customer experience the look and feel of a product in the real world, the virtual world, or in both. The Paige Mirror 17 is only our first step in implementing this exciting technology. Expect even bigger and better displays from us in the future.”

The Paige Mirror 17 can be equipped with peripherals such as an embedded barcode scanner, magnetic stripe reader and full-HD video camera, bringing the “endless aisle” to customers at the critical point of decision. The technology is easily linked to an omni-channel platform, so customers can order for home delivery and retailers can reduce in-store inventory.
