A new National Geographic Store opened Monday at Ireland’s international airport in Dublin.

The store occupies a 135-square-metre space in Terminal 1. It is National Geographic’s second airport store in Europe; the first opened in Rome’s international airport in summer 2013. Both stores are operated by Global Retailer.

“Our first pop-up store in Rome received such an enthusiastic response that we decided to team up with Global Retailer to bring this concept to Dublin,” said Marisa Selfa, ceo of Worldwide Retail Store S.L., in a statement. “By partnering with retail experts like Global Retailer, we plan to expand this innovative format around the world.”

Drawing on National Geographic’s 126-year history of inspiring people to care about the planet, the Dublin unit will offer its products and services in a constantly evolving, culturally inspired setting.
