Natori Boutique Opens in New York

Designer’s first U.S. boutique features personal collection

Josie Natori, whose lingerie lines have been sold in stores from Target to Nordstrom opened her first U.S. boutique yesterday in New York’s trendy NoLIta (North of Little Italy) neighborhood. According to Women’s Wear Daily, the 1000-square-foot store markets a curated collection of lingerie, loungewear and sleepwear from The Natori Co.’s (New York) Josie Natori, Natori and Josie by Natori lines, as well as a Josie Natori ready-to-wear collection. 

The collections are merchandised among founder and ceo Natori’s personal collection of antiques and collectibles. The store will be remerchandised every few months around a new theme. “Items—including product, in-store furnishings, accessories and bedding—will be rendered in specialty fabrics, embellishments and patterns that are crafted for women, their lifestyles and their home environments,” reports WWD.

“We are very excited to open our first U.S. boutique and to provide customers with a shopping experience that will bring the Natori East-meets-West concept to life,” said Natori, calling the store “a veritable retail theater with art brought to life through an ever-changing rotation of products and store designs.”
