Nominate Industry Rising Stars

The Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) is looking for nominations for its annual Rising Star Award, which recognizes the achievements of individuals who have demonstrated talent, vision, and implementation in the retail environment.

Retailers and retail design firms are invited to nominate an individual (under 35 years of age) who works in retail design, visual presentation, or contract design who is a proven innovator and leader among his or her peers.

Nominations will be reviewed by a panel of PAVE member industry professionals, including retailers and educators, and finalists will be notified by mid-November and contacted for a short interview. The finalists and winner will be recognized during the PAVE Gala, held December 9, at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York.

Past winners have included Victor Johnson, White House | Black Market, 2007 Rising Star Winner, and Rachel Zsembery, AIA, LEED AP, associate, Bergmeyer Associates Inc., 2008 Rising Star Winner.
