Nora Lighting Edge-Lit LED Panels

                    Edge-Lit LED Panels, a new concept in minimalist ceiling-mounted fixtures that uniformly illuminate retail stores without the glare of LED diodes, are now available from NSpec by Nora Lighting. The panels feature an opalescent lens that produces a luminous, easy-on-the-eyes glow without glare.Edge-Lit Panels can be utilized in retail environments where overall illumination is desired and cost savings are a factor. The panels save energy because they deliver more lumens per watt; reduce maintenance time because re-lamping is required less often; and save on cooling costs because there is no forward heat. Two models are available: 2’ x 2’ and 2’ x 4’, which can be installed in most grid ceilings. The fixtures include accessories for surface mounting, recessed mounting into hard ceilings or pendant mounting. Lay-in Edge-Lit Panels are only ½” thick. Surface-mounted panels have a 2” deep back-box and an overall depth less than 3”.  Edge-Lit technology effectively illuminates an area with ambient upper light while also projecting foot candles to the work surface.  The fixtures are 120V/277V with a range of wattages, lumens and Kelvin temperatures available. They are also dimmable, cULs and DLC listed.
