Halco Lighting Technologies (Norcross, Ga.) has hired Del Moses as product analyst. He will be aiding in Halco’s product development through researching industry trends and new technologies, as well as testing and analyzing Halco products.

The Kroger Co. (Cincinnati) has named Michael Stoll as ceo of The Little Clinic, Kroger's wholly owned in-store health clinic subsidiary. The Little Clinic locations in Kroger stores offer health care and wellness solutions for customers and associates.

Al Lierman has been named director of retail for The Greenbrier (White Sulphur Springs, W.V.). The resort currently has 27 stores on property as well as an online shopping site. Lierman will manage all retail operations onsite as well as The Greenbrier shop at Tamarack.

STORE OPENING

Fashion specialty retailer Nordstrom (Seattle) has opened a store in Newport Beach, Calif., at Fashion Island. The 138,000 square-foot, two-level store is the sixth Nordstrom full-line store in Orange County.

The 2011 Lightfair International (LFI), the world’s largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference, will be staged in Philadelphia at the Pennsylvania Convention Center May 15-19, 2011. The move to Philadelphia was necessitated by the renovation of New York’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, LFI’s traditional site.

Mountain States Construction magazine has honored Sarah Broughton of Rowland+Broughton Architecture and Urban Design (Denver) with its annual “Top 20 Under 40” award. A panel of seven judges selected the top 20 based on criteria that included: achievement of, or progress toward, industry certifications; community service; industry involvement; and contribution to creating or building landmark Colorado projects.
