The North Face Opens New York Flagship

New location features an in-store climbing wall

Outdoor gear and apparel brand The North Face (Alameda, Calif.) has opened a New York flagship on Fifth Avenue and 43rd Street.

The two-story, 20,000-square-foot store includes a climbing wall, community seating and on-site product customization, according to the New York Business Journal.

The retailer considers the new store “a natural extension of the brand’s expansion into urban exploration.” The North Face currently operates 68 stores in the U.S. and 54 internationally.
