Paul Stuart (New York) will open a nearly 10,000-square-foot store at the new CityCenterDC development in Washington D.C., next spring.

The new unit will be designed by Charles Sparks + Company, the architects for Paul Stuart’s Chicago locations, and will feature a clean, contemporary design using glass, bronze, marble and zebrano wood, and include a lot of open space, according to Women's Wear Daily.

This will be the men's and women's specialty clothing retailer's first new U.S. store since it was acquired by Mitsui & Co. in late 2012. Paul Stuart operates a 60,000-square-foot flagship in New York and two units in Chicago. Outside the U.S., there are two Paul Stuart flagships in Tokyo, as well as about 100 in-store shops in department stores and outlet centers throughout Japan.
