Raden Unveils Experience Showroom

Brand allows customers to try out 'high-tech' luggage

Luggage brand Raden (New York) opened a coliseum-like, 7000-square-foot space in New York’s SoHo neighborhood. Unlike a traditional store, the space was designed to give consumers the experience of using their high-tech luggage that can connect to smartphones.

Although it was meant to function as a showroom, the Raden space has seen overwhelming interest from tourists in SoHo hoping to upgrade their luggage before returning home, reports the New York Business Journal.

As a result, Raden has now replaced and increased inventory in the temporary store. CEO Josh Udashkin says the success also means the brand will consider other locations in New York, as well as new spaces in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
