According to Fortune, the parent company of RadioShack (Fort Worth, Texas) is reportedly preparing to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. This would be the second time RadioShack has filed for bankruptcy.

The parent company, General Wireless Operations (Fort Worth, Texas), has already begun closing around 200 stores and is negotiating with companies including Sprint (Overland Park, Kan.) about possibly closing others. The company operates about 1750 stores within Sprint locations.

RadioShack first sought bankruptcy in February 2015. At that point, it sold about 2400 of its U.S. stores to General Wireless.
