Aéropostale Inc. (New York) announced Thursday that the chain may be up for sale soon, as the company said it will look into strategic options including sale and restructuring.

Fortune reports the brand is also facing supply problems with MFG Sourcing US, a subsidiary of Sycamore Partners (New York). This could lead to supply disruptions and difficulties liquidating assets.

The company also said that comparable sales fell 6.7 percent during the holidays. Net sales also decreased by 16.1 percent and net losses were reported at $21.7 million.
