Ross Stores Opens 40 New Locations

Ross Stores (Dublin, Calif.) announced the June and July openings of 23 Ross Dress for Less and seven dd's Discounts stores across 17 different states. These new locations are part of the off-price retailer's plans to add a total of 75 Ross and 20 dd's Discounts units during 2014.

“Looking ahead, we continue to see significant future growth opportunities and believe that over time Ross can nearly double its existing store count to 2000 locations and dd's can become a chain of 500 stores,” Jim Fassio, president and cdo of Ross Stores said in a statement.
