Saks Relocating Westbury, N.Y., OFF 5TH

Store at The Gallery will open in 2012

Saks Inc. (New York) is moving it Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH store in Westbury, N.Y., from the Mall at the Source to The Gallery at Westbury Plaza, a new development by Equity One's Inc. Located a quarter mile from the original location, the new 26,000-square-foot store will join other national tenants, including The Container Store, Trader Joe's and Nordstrom Rack.

“We look forward to joining The Gallery at Westbury Plaza in 2012,” says Robert Wallstrom, president of Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH. “This new store will provide local shoppers with an expanded assortment of value-priced fashion from Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH.”

The new Westbury Plaza store will be modeled in the brand’s “luxury in a loft” design, which debuted in 2008 and includes an uncluttered layout with open floor plans, moveable fixtures and bright lighting.

Saks operates 57 Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH stores in 23 states.
