Sales Suffer at HMV Group in England

Double-digit drop is a significant decline

Sales of music, video and other entertainment items fell at HMV Group (Maidenhead, England) stores open for at least one year, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In-store sales fell 11.6 percent in the five-month period that ended September 15. The company’s ceo, Trevor Moore, told The Reporter the declines “reflect the challenging market in which we operate.”
