Ten months before the start of EuroShop 2014, The World’s Leading Retail Trade Fair, exhibitor registration is strong and over 559,700 square feet of net exhibition space in 15 halls have already been reserved. Exhibitors can sign up online at www.euroshop.de/2330. This month, the process of stand space allocation will start. EuroShop will be held from February 16 – 20, 2014 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

“The current registrations clearly exceed those for the previous event at the same point in time,” reported Hans Werner Reinhard, Deputy Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf. “The conversations we had with exhibitors and retail experts prove that EuroShop is the unrivalled No. 1 trade fair worldwide for all retail investment needs. Companies deliberately align their product innovations and product portfolios with the EuroShop dates.”

When last held in 2011, EuroShop was a record event – with 2,036 exhibitors from 53 countries on some 1.1 million square feet of net exhibition space and over 107,000 trade visitors from all five continents. To continue this accomplishment, the organizer Messe Düsseldorf is constantly improving this success formula. In 2014, the booming topic of retail lighting will not only be catered to with a separate hall but a special “Lighting Designers’ Zone” area will be specifically set up for the first time. In the Visual Merchandising area the Mannequin City concept will be developed further, enlarging and opening up this area while keeping the elaborate design. A Design Boulevard leading diagonally across the area, various lounges, an event stage and young talent promotion will enhance Mannequin City.

During EuroShop 2014, the popular Retail Design Conference including the EuroShop Retail Design Award ceremony and the presentation of the Retail Technology Awards Europe (reta) will again take place.
