Pearl River, a New York retailing staple of Asian clothing, home furnishings and kitchenware, will open a new SoHo store later this month.

The retailer, which has been in the city's Chinatown district for nearly 25 years, will launch its new store on Broadway between Broome and Grand streets on March 28, 2003. Spanning two floors and 20,000 square feet, the store will offer more than 10,000 products, including traditional clothing, home furnishings and kitchenware from China, Japan, Korea, India, Thailand and Indonesia, among others. Highlights of the new location include a 15-foot waterfall and a café serving over 100 varieties of premium tea.
