VMSD Takes Home “Gold” for Best Single Issue in 2022 Tabbie Awards

VMSD magazine has been awarded Gold for the Best Single Issue category in the 2022 Tabbie Awards, presented by Trade, Association, and Business Publications International (TABPI). The annual competition is open to English-language b2b trade publications worldwide.

Taking home the Gold was our April 2021 issue which featured our annual Designer Dozen winners, an in-depth look at retail trends during the pandemic, and case studies, including Meland Club, which was featured on the issue’s cover. A judge for this year’s competition wrote, “The entire issue is clean and easy to navigate. The magazine is cohesive without being repetitive. The cover and TCON are also exquisite.”

VMSD‘s sister brands, owned by SmartWork Media, were also recognized including honorable mentions in the Best Single Issue category for INVISION (February 2021); Signs of the Times (September 2021); INSTORE (June 2021); and PETS+ (July/August 2021). VMSD was also recognized for a Bronze in the Feature Design category for Victor Cantal’s design of “Future Proofing,” our April 2021 Designer Dozen feature.
