Warby Parker Annex Debuts in Seattle

Literary-themed store to open this weekend

Warby Parker (New York) announced that it will be opening a new, themed annex store in Seattle this weekend, reports Seattle magazine.

The company operates 15 physical stores throughout the country, and this marks the company’s first entry into the Seattle market, after establishing a series of month-long pop-up shops in two of the city’s Nordstrom stores. It is also the company’s third annex store, with other locations in Miami (with a pool-themed store) and New York.

This location will have a literary theme that revolves around “writer’s block.” Customers are encouraged to write a five-word memoir on a large cement block that serves as a focal point inside the store. The store also will feature a stacked-book window installation, and customers can purchase select, curated books in the store.

The entire Warby Parker collection of men’s and women’s eyeglasses and sunglasses will be made available in the store.
