Whole Foods Market (Austin, Texas) announced it will open three new stores in Cherry Hill, N.J., Redmond, Va. and Indianapolis.

According to The Produce News, the 45,000-square-foot Cherry Hill store will feature the grocer's first “Hatchery” — a pop-up entrepreneurial space within the store where local suppliers, chefs, craftspeople and innovators have the opportunity to sell directly to Whole Foods Market customers. A different artisan will be featured each day of the store’s opening week, starting June 18.

The new 40,000-square-foot downtown Indianapolis store, scheduled to open in 2017, will become the third Whole Foods Market in the Indianapolis area.

The approximately 40,000-square-foot Richmond store will be located near the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University. No target opening date has been set.
