Apple Store Confirmed for World Trade Center

Rumors of new Upper East Side store too

Apple Insider has reported that an Apple Store (Cupertino, Calif.) has been confirmed for the World Trade Center site mega-mall, scheduled to open in 2015.

Sources also say another Manhattan Apple Store project is currently underway in a 93-year-old bank building on the Upper East Side.

Apple currently operates five stores in Manhattan, with locations in Soho, the Meat Packing District, 5th Avenue, Lincoln Center and Grand Central.
