Williams-Sonoma Opens First Stores in Mexico

More than a dozen stores to open by end of the year

Williams-Sonoma (San Francisco) announced in a formal press conference that will be opening its first stores in Mexico later this year. The retailer plans to open more than a dozen stores in Mexico City that will span the company’s line of brands, including Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, PBteen and West Elm.

The retailer will open its first round of stores today, with stores including Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, PBteen and West Elm. The retailer will open the remaining stores throughout the rest of October and November, with the last opening slated for December 3.

In total, it will be opening four Pottery Barn Kids stores, three Pottery Barn, West Elm and Williams-Sonoma locations, and one PBteen store, according to a press release.
