WiseConnect Inc. (San Francisco), provider of web-based software for retail design and construction, has signed an agreement to be acquired by BayLogics (San Diego), a provider of application software for enterprise-level corporate real estate (CRE) management. The corporate headquarters for the combined companies will be in San Diego, effective on Monday, November 5.

WiseConnect's application, which enables retailers to share information with designers, contractors and vendors, has been used by such retailers as Jiffy Lube International and Lowe's Home Improvement, and by manufacturers such as Ontario Store Fixtures.

“This acquisition . . . combines BayLogics'market dominance in occupancy management with WiseConnect's focus on automation and simplification of project, process and issues management,” said Adam Wise, WiseConnect's ceo and founder.

BayLogic's base of more than 300 customers comprises 33 of the top U.S. 100 retailers, including Sears, Goodyear and Williams-Sonoma.
