Destination Maternity Corp (Philadelphia) has expanded the responsibilities of Ronald Masciantonio, executive vp and general counsel, to include chief administrative officer.

Lauren Armstrong has joined the staff at Universal Display U.K. (London). Armstrong brings more than 15 years of retail experience within the visual merchandising industry.

STORE OPENINGS
Co-founder and creative director of Zona Franci Sagar has launched a pop-up store for the lifestyle store Zona. Located in the Cheryl Hazan Gallery in TriBeCa, gallery owner Cheryl Hazan and Sagar have joined together to curate a selection of artwork that will integrate into the Zona shopping experience.

Tumi has recently opened a flagship store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, Calif. Designed by Brand + Allen Architects, the spaces has a streamlined, sleek and sophisticated design, and uses Cubic’s (Minneapolis) Cube+ fixture in multiple areas of the store.

BUSINESS BRIEFS
Cincinnati-based KDM P.O.P. Solutions Group has added an HP Indigo 5600 digital press. The technology will expand KDM’s capability to offer offset quality small format digital print jobs at faster turn times and on a wider variety of substrates.

Walter Schatt of Schattdecor Inc. was inducted into the Decorative and Industrial Laminate Hall of Fame, as part of the Decorative Surfaces Conference held in October in Orlando. The honor was established to recognize an individual for leadership and service activities, which have significantly and demonstrably contributed to the advancement of the laminate industry. Among the contributions to the industry noted in Schatt’s nomination were his bringing Japanese style printing to Europe, the standardizing of base paper, the development of Bavarian Beech and his personal philosophy towards personnel management. He is the 19th member of the hall of fame.
