Foot Locker Appoints Its First Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer

Neil Bansal joins the shoe seller from the country’s largest beer importer

Foot Locker (New York) has appointed Neil Bansal as its Executive VP and first Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, according to a company press release. He will be responsible for overseeing the brand’s global transformation strategy.

Bansal previously served as Senior VP, Strategy, Insights & Analytics for New York-based Constellation Brands, the largest beer importer in the U.S. Prior to that, he held roles at companies like Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, McKinsey & Co., Citigroup and BNP Paribas.

He will report directly to the company’s Chair and CEO Dick Johnson.

Johnson says, “Neil’s fresh perspective and deep experience will further accelerate our consumer-led strategies as we continue to expand our customer base and delight them with a broader and richer product offering and diversify our business across brands, categories, and channels. He’s a tremendous addition to our dynamic and diverse leadership team with keen insight and a growth mindset that complements our already high-performing operation.”
