Neiman Marcus (Dallas) has appointed Ryan Ross as President of Neiman Marcus, effective Aug. 15, according to a company press release.

Previously the President of Williams-Sonoma, Ross was oversaw the growth of integrated channel strategies, evolving brand relevancy and customer growth. In late July, Williams-Sonoma announced Ross would be leaving “to assume a leadership role outside of the company.”

Ross is also the former EVP of Marketing and Digital at HSN and held leadership positions with The Gap Inc., Pottery Barn and Harrods.

Ross will report to Geoffroy van Raemdonck, CEO of Neiman Marcus Group, and will be responsible for strengthening the brand and customer experience.

“Ryan is a values-driven leader with a proven track record of achieving rapid growth and optimizing customer-centric experiences,” van Raemdonck says. “This new role represents the next step in our Revolutionizing Luxury Experiences strategy, and we’re confident that an esteemed omnichannel retail leader like Ryan further positions Neiman Marcus for sustainable growth.”

Neiman Marcus’s President and Chief Marketing Officer, Lana Todorovich, will remain in her role and report to Ross. Its Chief Customer Officer, David Goubert, will be leaving the company to “pursue personal interests,” the department store retailer says.
