Bluestar Alliance (New York) has announced that it plans to reintroduce the Limited Too brand and reopen retail stores. The company purchased the brand from Sun Capital Partners (Boca Raton, Fla.).

According to New York Post, the company anticipates rolling out the Limited Too brand initially to department stores, where the brand will appear starting in fall 2016.

About five years ago, all Limited Too stores had been converted to Justice (New Albany, Ohio) stores. Before the brand was converted to Justice stores, it operated about 600 standalone stores. Bluestar Alliance also announced that it has plans to re-open up to 200 standalone Limited Too stores over the next five years.
