John Lewis Partnership (London) has unveiled details about the remodel of its flagship department store on Oxford Street in London. According to The Telegraph, the aim of the remodel is for the department store to have the country's largest housewares department.

The remodel will add 94,000 square feet to the two-storied home department. New features include a “sleep room,” where shoppers can custom design bedrooms, as well as more than 25 full-scale room designs showcasing the store’s wares. The store is also expanding its merchandise offerings; for instance, there will now be more than 650 selections in the lighting department and more than 100,000 different sofa shape and fabric combinations available.

The remodel is expected to be unveiled in September.
