Nordstrom Inc. (Seattle) has announced it will open its second Connecticut-based full-line store in fall 2018.

The three-level, approximately 150,000-square-foot store will anchor a new 700,000-plus-square-foot regional shopping center in Norwalk, Conn. being developed by General Growth Properties (Chicago).

“We're glad we have an opportunity to serve our existing Fairfield County customers closer to home, as well as customers new to Nordstrom in a compelling, new retail destination,” Jamie Nordstrom, president of stores for Nordstrom Inc., said in a statement.

The company opened its first Nordstrom department store in Connecticut in 1997.
