The Kroger Co. (Cincinnati) has converted six former Food 4 Less (Dayton, Ohio) grocery stores into Smith’s stores, which will open March 4 in Las Vegas.

The newly rebranded Southern Nevada stores formerly operated under the Food 4 Less brand, an affiliated division of Smith’s under Kroger Co. All 800 Food 4 Less employees were trained and moved into positions with Smith’s stores, including the six new locations, reports the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Each of the six Vegas stores underwent more than $4 million in renovations. The new Smith’s stores include pharmacy, deli and bakery counters, service meat and seafood departments, floral selections and self-checkout stations.

Smith’s currently operates 37 locations in Southern Nevada.
