Gadzooks, Inc. (Dallas), specialty retailer of casual clothing and accessories for teenagers, has announced it will team up with Polo Jeans to offer products for young men in 300 store locations for this year's back-to-school campaign. The Polo Jeans assortment will consist of a variety of denim and twill bottoms, fleece and woven tops, along with T-shirts and hats. The retailer said, however, that no Polo Jeans vendor shops or special merchandised areas are planned; rather, the new assortment will be merchandised along with other branded collections.

“We are pleased to be working with Polo Jeans on this important launch for the young men's customer,” said Paula Masters, Gadzooks'president and chief merchandising officer. “We feel that Gadzooks and Polo Jeans share the same demographic target, which is core to our merchandising strategy.”

Gadzooks, established in 1983, currently operates 407 mall-based stores in metropolitan and middle markets in 39 states.
