Fabletics Opens Tampa Store

Plans to expand to 100-plus stores

Fabletics, a subsidiary of JustFab (El Segundo, Calif.), has opened a store in Tampa, Fla.

The brand was co-founded by actress Kate Hudson in 2013 as an online retailer that offers discounts on athleisure wear through memberships. Earlier this year, Fabletics announced it would open upwards of 100 stores in the next few years, reports the Tampa Bay Business Journal.

“Fifteen percent of all apparel sales are online, and that means we were ignoring 85 percent of the market,” said one Fabletics senior vp Dustin Netral to the Tampa Bay Business Journal. “As the online business grew, we would frequently hear from customers that they wanted to be able to touch and feel the products.”
