Urban Outfitters (Philadelphia) announced that Tricia Smith, formerly of Nordstrom (Seattle) and Tilly’s (Irvine, Calif.), has been appointed as Global CEO of the Anthropologie brand, according to a press release. Smith replaces Hillary Super, who stepped down after three years.

Smith worked previously for Nordstrom for 26 years, where she was the General Merchandise Manager of women’s, young contemporary, designer and specialized apparel. She left in 2019 to become Chief Merchant at Tilly’s.

Urban Outfitters’ CEO Richard Hayne said in the release: “We are pleased to welcome Tricia into the URBN family. She is an accomplished leader with extensive merchant experience.
