Glossier (New York) is opening a new brick-and-mortar Seattle location this Friday, the brand’s first permanent store since shuttering all of its physical locations in 2020.

The 6200-square-foot outpost will be followed by a second store opening in Los Angeles this autumn and another in London opening this winter, reports Retail Dive.

Glossier’s Head of Retail Operations Emily Lewis told Retail Dive in an email: “We’re thrilled to be returning to physical retail starting with our new permanent store in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood after seeing so much success from our pop-up in the area in 2019 … This new space is one of our biggest and most imaginative offline experiences to date, and builds on everything we’ve learned from years of experimentation with various concepts and formats.”

Pre-pandemic, Glossier reportedly made 80 percent of its sales via e-commerce.
