Advance Auto Parts’ President Resigns

George Sherman, the president of Advance Auto Parts (Roanoke, VA), will step down in mid-August but will stay on as a consultant through 2016. The company has not announced a replacement.

Sherman has been with Advance Auto Parts for three years, reports Triangle Business Journal.

“George  … had helped to create a more field and customer focused company by empowering our stores and field leaders to better serve customers. We wish him the best in his future endeavors,” CEO Tom Greco said in a press release.
